About Us
Hometown Forecast Services, Inc. (HFS) started operations in January 2001. Rob Carolan saw the need for a weather company that provides accurate forecasts and great customer support. We strive to build long-term relationships with our clients. Over the last seven years that philosophy has allowed HFS to grow, servicing dozens of clients stretching across the U.S. and Caribbean. Our staff has over 100 years of combined experience forecasting the weather you have to deal with every day.
Operational Forecasts:
Our Facility and Operational forecast products are designed with the facility and public works managers in mind. Whether you're responsible for a large university or workplace campus, a regional or major airport or a state department of transportation, our accurate and timely forecasts will help you manage your weather fighting resources more wisely and more cost effectively. Plus any time, day or night, if you or your staff has a question, just pick up the phone and consult with our meteorological staff! "Accurate weather without all the hype!"
Media Forecasts:
We service many radio stations across the U.S. and the Caribbean. If you are a radio station program director and looking for that unique weather service, HFS is the one! Accurate, Dependable and we sound great - "we sound like we live in your hometown!"
Radio Advertising:
Some of our radio stations compensate us with radio advertising in exchange for our weather forecasting/consultations. Therefore, we have radio ad time available on 20+ radio stations (over 90% of radio inventory is in stations located in southern New England). If you want to get your company name recognized, promote a new product or service, let HFS help you with great radio packages starting at $7.00 per spot!
